‘Not Just One’ is a powerful and deeply personal spoken word poem written by Surfing Sofas — a talented poet who has lived through homelessness.

Inspired by his own journey and the stories of young people supported by EveryYouth, ‘Not Just One’ reminds us that homelessness is never just one story — it’s thousands of individual experiences, each filled with challenges, resilience, and hope.

The poet, Justin says: “Therapy is expensive and the waiting lists are long… so poetry has been a great alternative. A lot of the answers we have in life are sometimes inside of us.”
